Four outputs, four specific checks

Rows to Books does not treat every accounting format as renamed text. Each writer has a separate parse-back reader and explicit limitations.

QBO

QuickBooks Web Connect

Transaction identity and account elements are checked. Import acceptance still varies by QuickBooks product and version.

Open Financial Exchange

Dates, signed amounts, totals, IDs, and statement structure are parsed back and compared.

Quicken Interchange Format

Dates, amounts, payees, and memos are verified; QIF is never claimed to be duplicate-safe.

Mapped comma-separated values

Required columns, quoting, dates, amounts, totals, and disclosed field moves are checked.

CSV, XLS, and XLSX are supported. Common Wise, Revolut, PayPal, and Stripe headers can be detected. Other sources use a visible generic mapping step.
